Eduardo Serra

Eduardo Serra was born in 1996 in Vila Real. He studied percussion at the Conservatório Regional de Música de Vila Real with Jean-François Lézé (2004-2006) and Isabel Silva (2006-2011) and at the Escola Profissional de Música de Espinho with Joaquim Alves, Rui Rodrigues, Pedro Oliveira and Nuno Aroso (2011-2014). In 2014, Eduardo was admitted at the Escola Superior de Música, Artes e Espetáculo (ESMAE) in the Bachelor degree in Composition. At ESMAE, he studied with Pedro Santos, Carlos Azevedo, Eugénio Amorim, Dimitris Andrikopoulos, Rui Penha, Filipe Vieira, Rui Dias, Nuno Peixoto de Pinho, José Alberto Gomes, Telmo Marques, Ângela da Ponte and Daniel Moreira. He is currently attending the third year of the degree, tutored by Eugénio Amorim.

During these years at ESMAE, Eduardo also attended seminars with Christopher Dobrian, Vic Hoyland, Ivo Medek, Vít Zouhar, Nicolas Braci and Helmut Lachenmann, among others.
