Adérito Valente

Adérito Valente is a distinguished Portuguese composer and music theorist, specializing in microtonality and tuning systems. His work has received international recognition and is regularly performed worldwide by leading interpreters of contemporary music. He has been awarded prizes in several prestigious international competitions including the Concours de Genève. Throughout his artistic and academic career, he has collaborated thru seminars and studied under prominent composers in the field of contemporary music such as Carlos Guedes, Klas de Vries, Clarence Barlow, Magnus Lindberg, Jonathan Harvey, Kaija Saariaho, Emmanuel Nunes, and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
