Manuel Moreira

Manuel Moreira was born in 1996. He studied Composition at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa (ESML) under Sérgio Azevedo, João Madureira and Luís Tinoco, among others. He is currenly attending the Master Degree in Composition in the same educational institution, under António Pinho Vargas. In addition to several pieces played at the ESML and the S. Luiz Theater – at the “Semana da Composição” and “Peças Frescas” festivals –, he has received an Honorable Mention in the 6th Edition of the SPA/Antena 2 Composition Competition with the orchestral work “H(a)unted”.
