Mariana Vieira

Mariana Vieira has a Bachelor degree in Music – Composition at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, where she studied with João Madureira, António Pinho Vargas and Carlos Caires, among others. She currently attends the Master in Music Teaching in the same institution. She regularly studies with the composer Jaime Reis. Her work has been presented in festivals such as Young Euro Classic (Germany), Crossroads (Austria), Monaco Electroacoustique (France), Festival Itinerante de Percussão, Festival DME, Aveiro_Síntese and Música Viva (Portugal). Winner of the European Composer Award 2017. Mariana is the producer of the Festival DME and president of the EMSCAN association since 2016.
