Tua Lágrima em Mim

Tua Lágrima em Mim for chamber orchestra, composed in 2009, had its première in May of the same year by the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra, resulting of a commission.
It is therefore a surprise, and at the same time a great satisfaction, to see it ‘alive’, ‘revisited’ and edited. Fortunately, this work was not forgotten in the drawer or bookcase as, to my delight, has happened to other works of mine. But after 6 years, this tear of mine will surely have lost features from the beginning of my professional career, but others will remain in my current language as well.
Tua Lágrima em Mim was written in honor of my parents who, to date, celebrated 25 years of marriage. This time we celebrate the ‘life’ of this work and again the union of those whose genes, values and experiences I carry in each tear.
